About the Project

I welcome and appreciate help in creating finished quilts for this project.

A standard crib/toddler bed mattress is 28″ x 52″ (71 cm x 132 cm). I create and accept quilts that are generally, 36″ – 40″ (91 cm – 102 cm) wide and 42″ – 46″ (107 cm – 117 cm) long.

I live in a smoke-free and pet-free home. I use fabrics that feature designs and colors that match infants and toddlers. I wash the quilts before I donate them. I pack the quilts in plastic to protect them during transport. I also recommend the receiving organization wash the quilts upon receipt. The quilts may become soiled during the shipping process.

This project is ongoing and there is no “deadline” for donating or receiving donations. If a specific need arises with a particular time constraint, I will post information about that need on a separate page on this website.

If you are a quilter and you want to donate one or more finished quilts, please complete the form on the Contact page and describe yourself as a “Quilter.” Let me know how many finished quilts you want to donate. You will receive a response within 48 hours.

If you are a longarmer and you want to donate your quilting services, please complete the form on the Contact page and describe yourself as a “Longarmer.” Let me know how many quilts you want to quilt and the process for getting the tops, backing fabric and batting to you. You will receive a response within 48 hours.

If you are another member of the quilting community and you want more information about the Quilts for Little Angels project, please complete the form on the Contact page and describe yourself as a member of the “Quilting Community.” You will receive a response within 48 hours.

If you are a representative from a child care center and you want to receive quilts donated to your organization, please complete the form on the Receive Donated Quilts page and let me know what your organization needs. You will receive a response within 48 hours.
